Child Sponsorship

Here are some things to consider in sponsoring a child:

  • Sponsoring a child allows us to participate in God’s Kingdom work in another part of the world.
  • Brings hope and encouragement to a child and their family in another part of the country.
  • Being noticed by a sponsor, receiving letters, and having the support needed to attend school, receive basic living necessities (food, water, medical) and spiritual teaching becomes a new framework for a child to build their future story.
  • It establishes a relationship that both child and sponsor enjoy.
  • It teaches us to look beyond our own needs to the needs of others.

eSwatini

eSwatini (Swaziland) struggles with a high HIV prevalence, which has contributed to many children losing parents and being raised in poverty. Children’s Cup provides, pre-school and after-school tutoring, lunch, Christian teaching and activities. Sponsorship Cost: $39/month

Guatemala

In Guatemala 1 out of 7 people live on $1.25/day or less. The learning center provides after-school tutoring, lunch, Christian teaching and activities to the children of poor families from Los Verdes. Sponsorship Cost: $40/month

Kenya

Kenya has a strong emphasis on education, though many in poverty are unable to meet the basic costs of schooling. Missions of Hope International provides private schools, teachers, lunch, medical help and Christian teaching. Sponsorship Cost: $38/month
